problem with importing multiple files: only last file is rendered

Hi, I am new to tanka, I am playing around with it, and I created the next main.jsonnet:

(import 'application.jsonnet') +
(import 'appproject.jsonnet') +
(import 'basic_service.jsonnet') +
{
  _config:: {
    basicservice: {
      name: "basicservice",
      port: 3000,
    },
    namespace: {
      name: "jsontest-tanka-merch"
    }
  }
}

if i do tk show only basic_service is rendered.
If I remove that line, appproject is rendered, and if I remove the bottom two, application is rendered.

I have read the tutorial and some other blog posts with examples, looks like my main.jsonnet is correct, as well as each of my jsonnet files as they render individualy.

I am on macos big sur, maybe that could be the problem? below is the versions of tk and jsonnet I have installed with brew:

The (import)+(import) merges all these together to form a single object, so naturally only the last one will show up. You need something a little more elaborate.

This one made me realize my mistake, each resource need to be defined as a separate object:

  some_resource: {
      . . .
  }
}
