Manipulate raw response

Hi I'm using the plugin to build a dev team dashboard and I have gotten a very good start and have found a nice way to visualise our Jenkins pipelines.
Now the time has come to get Gerrit data and here where I'm getting stuck. To prevent XSSI attacks all their responses starts with )]}'.
Is there possible to manipulate the raw response and strip that line out before feeding it in to the parser?
