Could you provide more details about the issue you're having? Are you using the live version of the app at https://g.co/SantaApp ?

I can Chromecast other apps like YouTube, but there is no Chromecast option in this app.

Same issue. The cast icon quickly disappears.

Same issue - Chromecast kept cutting out around 6 and then the cast icon disappeared. Same issue on multiple phones; casting from other apps like YouTube or play music continued to work normally.

Thanks for these bug reports. I'm sorry to say but our Chromecast implementation ran into some issues late into development and we weren't able to resolve them in time. The fact that the button would appear and disappear is a separate problem. It shouldn't be showing altogether.

As a workaround, I suggest casting the Santa Tracker tab from a Chrome browser to your Chromecast.

Out of curiosity, were changes being made to the Chromecast feature? This functionality was originally made available around 2013/2014, so my understanding is that it should've worked the same as previous years without any modifications.

Same exact issue this year - Chromecast icon appears and works on my TV for about 5 minutes before stopping. Very disappointing and embarrassing when you have guests over.
