Option to exclude paths from metrics

Right now the metrics exposed take into account all the requests done. This makes the information provided not fully trustworthy, as it mixes the requests to upload/download packages together with the health checks and metrics requests.

I've seen that there's some commented code that defined an option to exclude certain paths from the metrics. Do you think that is something that could be added?
