Current Behavior

Extension manager fails when packages are abandoned.

Also, can there be an addition to the extension manager that provides the below output, and or alerts users ahead of time of abandoned packages/extensions?

Package askvortsov/flarum-auto-moderator is abandoned, you should avoid using it. Use askvortsov/flarum-automod instead. Package swiftmailer/swiftmailer is abandoned, you should avoid using it. these are only warnings, can you further explain how the extension manager fails? what action are you taking and what result are you expecting that isn't happening?

Hi Sami -I am unable to install or update extensions via extension manager. I have traced the warnings to a PWA extension. With that extension disabled, extension manager works as designed. I am also unable to uninstall an extension via extension manager.

I actually suggested on discuss to recommend opening an issue, because it would be smart for the extension manager - in the long run - to identify abandoned extensions and propose or even auto-install their successors.
