git-clean-repo

bash script to clean old branches from old repos

how-to (ENG-US)

  • Locate your '.bashrc' terminal file (generally located at the 'home' folder of your OS);
  • If it doesn't exists yet, create one;
  • Add the 'git-clean-repo.sh' file to the same folder you used to create the '.bashrc' file
  • Edit the '.bashrc' file and insert the command line: alias clean-repo='~/git-clean-repo.sh'
  • Save the file and you're ready to use it!
  • All you must do is open terminal into the desired repository and run the command clean-repo!

como usar (PT-BR)

  • Encontre o arquivo '.bashrc' do seu terminal (geralmente localizado na pasta 'home' do seu SO);
  • Se ainda não existir, crie um;
  • Adicione o arquivo 'git-clean-repo.sh' à mesma pasta que você usou para criar o arquivo '.bashrc';
  • Edite o arquivo '.bashrc' e adicione a linha de comando: alias clean-repo='~/git-clean-repo.sh';
  • Salve o arquivo e você está pronto para usá-lo!
  • Basta abrir o terminal no repositório desejado e executar o comando clean-repo!
