An interactive UI feature shall be implemented allowing to explore the correlation between LST and various attributes (soil sealing, dominant land cover and land use classes).
Key Features:

  • Average surface temperature per intensity of sealed surfaces at the municipality level.
  • Scatter plot illustrating the relationship between soil sealing and LST.
  • Filter options to display the relationship for each land cover class.
All relevant datasets will be provided.

Here is one of the GV examples of what this should look like..

Here is an initial integration approach allowing comparison of different Gemeinden:

Hi @santilland ,
Just a few initial comments:

  • Under tools, lets call this “Land Surface Temperature Composites (Ecostress)”
  • When I change the year with the slider (arrow button), there seems to be a half step between years..
  • As we only have 3 layers, a different UI element could be used for the year selection
  • For the scatterplot, could we try plotting a linear regression and potentially showing an r²? TBD: adding several districts should all contribute to one and the same regression line
  • What are the point when one selects a district for the scatterplot? Are they zaehlsprengel units?
  • I think the stretch of the colorscale for the LST should be optimised a bit (e.g. linear, min/max=10/35)
  • The soil sealing layer should be added. Also the dedicated land cover product.
  • @matthias Sammer - we need the data descriptors (did you provide these already?)
