I'm writing this sharing option since yesterday, I choose, as davidak said, to put these options in a folder preferences, but in its own "Share" tab, and I decided to only show this tab if samba is installed, and if you selected ONLY ONE folder at time. Just don’t forget to add the fruit code of accessing those share folder MacOS will be slow AF IK because I’ve tried every single samba fix available for linux related to MacOS. |
Elementary OS should Share the user entire home folder by default like Mac OS dose if the user login using the username & password that they use to logging to there computer physical, via SSH or ftp, & broadcast public folder of every user on the machine if where if the user login using the username & password that they use to logging to there computer physical, via SSH or ftp. same apply to the file manager. |
