Nothing happens when enabling or disabling autostart button. The applications automatic start until they remove from autostart setting.

Adding applications to that list should add their .desktop file to /home/peteruithoven/.config/autostart. Toggling the button seems to toggle a X-GNOME-Autostart-enabled setting inside the .desktop file. Could you verify whether this happens?

  1. The dropbox .desktop file add by dropbox application and disable by default but it runs every time I restart the elementary os, then I enable it but after restart it goes back to disable but still it running at startup.
  2. I manually add skype to the autostart and enable it, after restart the os it start one time and then there is not skype in the autostart setting or folder.

My setup:
01

After restart:
02
