The installer asks you to select a keyboard layout — and shows a text box for you to test it — after selecting language and country. The problem is that after selecting language and country, the keyboard layout is still English (US) until you select a keyboard layout from the list.
Steps to Reproduce
First screen, language selection. I picked Portuguese — sorry if the screenshots don't match what I selected, i'm in a hurry
Country selection, I picked Brazil:
Keyboard layout selection. Don't interact with it yet.
In step number 3, the input box to test your keyboard layout becomes available. And although the screenshot clearly shows the option "Portuguese (Brazil)" being selected, the current keyboard layout is still "English (US)" — the default. Try typing in the text box and you'll see what I mean.
To actually change it to "Portuguese (Brazil)", you have to click the respective item in the list. Notice that the option is already highlighted.
Expected Behavior
The default keyboard layout for a selected language and country should be in effect in step 3. It's highlighted as expected, but it's not in effect.
Either that, or simply don't highlight an option — make it clear for the user that they must select an option from the list.
