Dear OpenCore-Patcher Team,

I am reaching out as a user of the OpenCore-Patcher tool for installing macOS on my MacBook Pro 2012 (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2012). My experience with OpenCore-Patcher began with the macOS Ventura release and has continued through the latest macOS Sonoma 14.1 update.

I have been encountering a critical issue: my MacBook Pro abruptly shuts down when running on battery power under high load, for instance, during a game like World Of Tanks. This occurs when the battery level is around 65% and happens in approximately two out of every three instances. Notably, I have replaced both the battery and the power supply unit, but the issue persists. No such problems were observed before the system updates using OpenCore-Patcher.

This leads me to suspect a potential compatibility or stability issue, possibly related to power management or thermal regulation, with the combination of OpenCore-Patcher and macOS on my specific MacBook model.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or troubleshooting advice you can provide. I am also prepared to offer additional information and participate in any necessary testing to aid in resolving this issue.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
