SQL patterns and regular expressions

1/ Write a python method / define a class - which will achieve SQL Style pattern matching using the LIKE operator -- similar to whats being achieved here - https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en/pattern-matching.html

2/ We need to have a python method which is DB agnostic and will work for various DB like - PostgreSQL , MySQL , SQLite etc
