Suggested improvement: auto numbering

Hi Davo,
Your plugin is the one I use the most because I can accurately follow the student's progress in real time.
Thank you for this work.
I noticed an issue and a suggested improvement. So I send two Git-Issues.
When using the "feedback" activity, there is a checkbox for auto-numbering questions in "Settings for questions and sending"
This should be useful in the checklist.
I mean, if the teacher could check a box for auto-numbering, then the tasks might be... numbered!...
There would be some kind of counter displayed on the left of the checkbox.
This could help in ClassRoom, for exemple to ask students "Arre you all ready with task number 12? Please verify if you checked this task in the CheckList". Or "I will now comment the task 23", etc...

This sounds like a fairly straightforward new feature to add (and it has been mentioned by others), but I'm unlikely to dedicate any of my free time to implement it in the near future.

Maybe I will get around to it someday (or I'm happy to review a well-written patch that meets Moodle coding guidelines and includes automated test coverage).
