Ted5000 Xml Explanation
WattDepot: A system for collecting and storing data from electricity meters for smart grid research and experimentation.

The TED 5000 home energy meter provides an "API" which is just a series of URIs that you can query that return XML documents with power data.
There is a demo TED unit that runs at the Energy, Inc headquarters. This provides a live version of the standard TED web interface, and also live access to the XML. Unfortunately, the XML isn't 100% obvious just from the name of the tags, so this page is my attempt to document the stuff we're interested in. By bringing up the XML and the web interface at the same time, you can match data from the web interface to the XML tags.
We're mostly interested in the power data, which looks like this:
