Here is a list of what is being required for Python 3.12 support:

PyMI does not support Python 3.12 build
Tracked-by: PyMI does not build on 3.12 PyMI#48
Fixed-by: cloudbase/PyMI@c6a9502
Replace imp module with a supported implementation
Tracked by: Python 3.12 removed imp module #139
