Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Some applications ( like mine) lock after a certain point of inactivity. It would be nice to have a method to close the datepicker, so that the datepicker is not overlaying the locked page.

Describe the solution you'd like
a DatePickerPlugin.hide() method
