[feature request] Specify time interval when using the 'top' filter #312

Hi Columbus240, thanks for filing the issue. RBB development has been suspended for a long time, since the Play Store suspended our app. |
Well, someone might come across this (maybe I myself) and provide a PR fixing this. Thank you for responding. |
Hi Brian, I am new to Android coding bu still a long time linux hacker - user/coder/kernel dev./etc! I just pulled the master and as time permits I'll do builds for my tablets - Android 5.0.2 and 7.1.1 and let you know after some QA! ;-) For a start and if I may ask, could you give us some hints of your problems on Play Store !?! Are you still using SunVox? Version 1.9.4 is just a treat, Alex is hard working on improving his wonderful music toy! I wish I could make him open the code, but he probably has his own good reasons to avoid it and I respect that! :-) |
Looking on your activity on Youtube, I guess you momentary break from SunVox is taking around 5 years! 😃 |
Hi dcstoica, I think Play Store detected some NSFW content and banned the app. I've got SunVox installed, and it's even pinned on my taskbar. Someday! :-) |
Hi Brian,
First, I am Daniel, and second is that life and technology are not working
in unison every time! 😉
I'll keep you posted of my experience in trying to revive your code. An app
doesn't necessarily have to be on Play Store to be useful to the community.
In case you still have the last .apk around I could use it to get a real
sense of the functionality before diving into the sources!
Glad yo meet you,
Dan.

Hi Daniel, Can you try downloading the last APK's from the site below? I would be surprised if the code still works, since Android has changed so much. :-) Glad to meet you, -Brian |
I have old tablets too!
And I have sent you request to access your Google Drive, before when, I
have found your site. The other links from the beginning of the page are on
github and the defunct play store! Apart from the sources, do you have the
apk on github, since I didn't see it? As time permits, for starters, I
could try to adapt it to the versions of Android!

Hi Daniel, I gave you view access on the Drive folder. I think that should allow you to download the APKs. The source code on github and these Drive APKs are all I got. Hope this helps, |
When choosing the 'top' filter in a subreddit, it isn't possible to specify the time interval from which to filter posts as on the website. In the app it is always set to the last 24 hours, while on the website options like since ever, since last year or last month are available.
Does the Reddit API allow this, and could this be implemented?
