I know some people have a tough time finding out how they can report issues about a mod they have, and yes, the "More Info" button brings you to the GitHub, but what if three was a button that said "Report a Bug" on a selected mod (at the modder's choice) that links them right to where they can report one?
I am not familiar with how BeatMods gets the information from modders about the GitHub, but an extra section input that asks for an OPTIONAL issue reporting page would be great of not only the players, but devs themselves in my opinion!
If this is the wrong place to ask, I would love to know where to suggest this properly

Most mod developers use their githubs for that exact purpose, in which case clicking the "More Info" button to access the github pages is exactly the right thing to do.
Since all mods are generally made separately, and by many different developers, having a central reporting system for various mods that may or may not exist as time and versions go by is a lot of time and effort for very little gain.
I'm not sure if this answers your suggestion, but please elaborate if that's not the case.
