change handle not working?

I have created computer.bringyourown.computer and I'm trying to change it to a custom domain bringyourown.computer (the root domain).

I've created the TXT record at _atproto.bringyourown.computer, using Cloudflare for DNS.

Verify DNS never works.

From the DNS queries section, I can see there are no requests for this subdomain TXT record:

What's the exact error message? I had a similar problem and solved it with the hint in this discussion: bluesky-social/atproto#2909

Unable to resolve handle. I'm trying to use the root PDS name as the handle. I'll try using goat and doing it manually.
