Passkey works "unusual" with Bitwarden extension on Google Chrome

I updated the Bitwarden extension to the latest version (currently 2024.11.2). Chrome 109.0.5414.120.

Then I enabled the Make Bitwarden your default password manager option.

When I tried to use the passkey on Github, Google, Bing, etc. And it worked fine, the Save/Choose passkey window appeared.

But when I restarted the browser, the Bitwarden passkey feature was no longer working!

For example, when I tried to log in with the passkey on Github, the login window with the default Chrome passkey appeared, but Bitwarden did not appear at all, and a warning This browser or device is reporting partial passkey support was displayed on the Github login page. The passkey login feature also did not work with other websites like Google, Bing, etc. after that.

I tried disabling and then re-enabling Bitwarden as well as the Make Bitwarden your default password manager option, but it still did not work.
