I came to know about this R package from one of my colleagues who visited the recent useR meetup at Social Cops. I would like to contribute in any way possible. I have actually faced this problem of uploading and downloading folders to S3 from R and wrote a gist around the same https://gist.github.com/saksham219/79c60c380dd094402baef4f136d76068

Folder upload is already solved by the export_folder option. Any help on issues/enhancements would be of great help to the package. Please create pull requests.
