There are 2 kinds of links, which one doesn't work? The local link should always work locally, the other one depends on our appengine "fake dns" service which may be acting up. |
I'll try the local link (I'm not at home at the moment). The public link is the one not working atm. My router updates my dyndns account and redirects port 80. Could this be the issue? |
There is some port trickery involved, plugui tells the app engine connector which port to use….hm…i'lll take a look at the code today :) Stephen Oliver On Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 10:27 AM, fuchini wrote:

Thanks, btw plugui is great! |
I've discovered that plugfinder is essentially broken at the moment, it may have been caused by a switchup in the way plug IDs are generated, or something else. I'm working on it right now. This is why the public links dont work, but the direct link should always work because the port has to be open one way or the other. If you're using an old copy of plugui you may have a "local" link, upgrade to the git code if you haven't already and that should have working direct links. |
Thanks for looking into it. I'll install the git version this weekend. I hope you can fix the public links (I can help in any way I can). |
Now that I have a fair bit of free time I'm overhauling the code and getting it ready for a 1.0 release, so it'll be fixed :) On Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 2:26 PM, fuchini wrote:

Just installed PlugUI in ArchLinuxARM. When I try to share a file, the share will appear in the shares menu but the download links won't work.
