Cookiewarning is a small script designed to display a warning to users about the use of cookies on a site in order to comply with the EU privacy directive (see http://www.ico.gov.uk/for_organisations/privacy_and_electronic_communications/the_guide/cookies.aspx ).

To use:
Please a link to the javascript file in the body of your HTML document as per the example test files (i.e. <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript" src="js/cookiewarning.js"></script> ) 

Versions:
Currently their are three versions of the javasccript file, version 1 (cookiewarning.js) darkens the page and superimposes a white box displaying the warning.
Version 2 (cookiewarning2.js) inserts a red box with white text at the top of the users screen. 
Version 3 (cookiewarning3.js) should be inserted in the <head> section of a page (as opposed to the <Body> section as version 1 and 2 are) and displays the warning in a pop-up box.
I belive all are compatabul with the EU directive, however I'm not a lawer.
