Remote Sensing Workshop

This repository contains the material for the AEMON-J Remote Sensing workshop. The workshop will walk through some examples of extracting imagery from Google Earth Engine using it's JavaScript API, and then it will do some simple data-driven modelling of water clarity using R. If you're planning on participating in the workshop. Please do the following beforehand. We look forward to seeing you there!

  1. Sign up for Google Earth Engine

  2. Either fork this repository and clone it locally, or download it in a zip file and unzip it in the directory you plan to use for the workshop (click the green "code" button and hit "Download Zip")

  3. Download the AquaSat database
