I am starting to look at the Smith dicts -- esp Bio and Geo. Bio validates in Oxygen. Geo does not yet. I just want to be sure that is the actual state of things and I am not missing something.

hi @gregorycrane I think that is the current state of things but you would need to ask @lcerrato for sure. I only fix the occasional typo I find in the bio file.

This is what it is. I don't think any substantive work has been done since the files were moved over.

It looks like some header changes were made to viaf88890045.003.perseus-eng1.xml as this has been renamed to be CTS-ready and has the metadata and this validates against <TEI xmlns="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0">

The other files have old headers/DTDs as well as entities, etc.
