我们使用cpt-interval参数设置采样间隔为I,根据文档描述如下,预热指令长度默认W = I,则采样指令区间为 [N - W, N + I]。
但是阅读源码,NEMU的commitid是fe61fbfb1b681fc11d3539b2cb8984344173093b,采样指令区间为 [N, N + I] 在profile过程中void SimPoint::profile(Addr pc, bool is_control, bool is_last_uop, unsigned instr_count),只要满足 指令数 > 采样间隔 即触发profile. 在checkpoint过程中bool Serializer::instrsCouldTakeCpt(uint64_t num_insts),只要满足 指令数>片段序号*采样间隔 即触发checkpoint
如果只是放大 cpt-interval ,把前面部分长度作为预热指令,只统计后面部分性能。但是cluster是整段聚类选则的,这样是否存在不准确的问题。
