Google offers a rendering speed test (mobile and desktop):

While desktop looks quite good they suggest to improve some issues on mobile devices:

... maybe some low hanging fruits there?

It looks much better now.

Especially, two fonts are available from Google web fonts, in the 13 000ms range. Using their CDN might be usefull to use the browser's cache if loaded by other websites

Google web fonts

This comes with huge GDPR issues, though... effectively (close to) forbidden in the EU. See many web sources for this.

I wasn't considering the European aspect of this.
