Remove master branch

As a follow up on #528, I would like to remove branch master from this repo. It is now read-only (since #528). I don't see it being used in 7.8 (except one link). There are no changes which would not be elsewhere (thanks @petrasovaa for checking that).

While it is nice to keep the history, the existence of the branch creates confusion. The overall history is preserved in grass8 branch (and any future branches in that naming scheme).
