It would be nice to have some sort of picker, preferably with a preview, so that it's easier to view all the options available and determine on-the-fly which one looks the slickest.

Sorry for the delay. It's not a picker per se but you do have access to the "catalog" (with the command :CBcatalog) for a preview of the kind of box/line and taking note of which number to use.
A picker would indeed be cool. Unfortunately, for the moment I don't really know how to do that and I don't have time to work on this project, but I keep that in mind, thanks for the idea!
