Auto-collection for movies with commentary track?

Hi,

I'd like to have a movie collection for all movies that have a commentary track. I've been chasing for a way to automate this for a while but the Plex UI doesn't even support searches by audio track.

I looked in the Plex database and that's in extra_data column of the media_streams table, if that helps.

I'm not sure that's technically possible for your script to handle which is why I started this discussion rather than open an issue with a feature request.

this is possible what exactly are you looking for?
Do you want to search for a specific Audio Track Title (The one specified inside the MKV)?

i would probably add this as a filter so you could do

collections:
  Movies with Commentary:
    plex: all
    filters:
      audio_track_title: Commentary

if that's what you're asking for go ahead and open an issue

  Movies with Commentary:
    plex: all
    filters:

But I got this error :

It's should be plex_all: true not plex: all

I have a question regarding the commentary track.

If we can not rely on a properly named commentary track in our library,
but all our mkv-files with commentary track(s) have set the commentary flag set to 1.
Will it be possible too, to add them to a collection?

The “commentary” flag tells the Matroska Player that this track contains commentary on the content. SOURCE

No because I'm at the whim of plex in that regard PMM doesn't directly look at any of your files it just reads the information that plex has read about your files so if plex adds that flag to the xml of the api then sure but until then probably not
