When I was using the D455 cameras on a system, several cameras were burned out in succession. However, when I disassembled the cameras to check the circuit boards, I couldn't find any obvious signs of burning. Has anyone had a similar experience? Could you please provide some methods for finding out where the burning occurred?

Hi @GLW1215 I have not seen past cases of RealSense cameras being electronically burned out. What leads you to believe that this what what has happened to the cameras, please? Are they no longer detected when inserted into the USB port?

In theory, if there had been some kind of electrical overload event then a possible damage point that might not show visible burn damage would be on the micro-sized USB port on the 'Vision Processor D4 V3' circuit board rather than the D450 camera module with the sensors on. A replacement D4 V3 board retails for around 45 to 50 dollars / euros and can be purchased from Intel authorized suppliers, such as Rutronik24.
