HakinCodes Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We, the contributors and maintainers at HakinCodes, pledge for making participation in our project and our community, a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Our Standards

For creating a positive work environment at our community, we accept the behavior of:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language
  • Being nice and respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Accepting constructive criticism
  • Focusing on best for the community
  • Showing empathy towards other community members

Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include:

  • Violence, threats of violence or violent language directed against another person
  • The use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention or advances
  • Personal insults, particularly those related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or disability
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without explicit permission
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Our Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Project Maintainers includes clarifying the standards of acceptable behaviors and also, they should take appropriate action in response to any instances of unacceptable behaviour.

Project maintainer will take appropriate action to stop the misconduct continuing and to prevent it from happening in the future. They will use the disciplinary procedure if they feel that it is necessary. If anyone keep breaking the conduct policy or break it in a serious way, they may receive a formal warning or be dismissed from the project work.

Scope

The Code of Conducts of HakinCodes is addressed towards its Project Administrators, Mentors, and Participants, in general, all of the personnel of the community, irrespective of the positions that they hold. It is mandatory to comply with the guidelines for behaviour contained in this Code.
