I used to run Skiff on Linux using Nativefier before they shut down, and that could run in the background with a tray icon and provide pop up notifications when new emails arrive. The Skiff website has full web notification support and I would love to see those here in this app.

Notifications are now in the latest release and should be rolled out on Flathub soon. See the above screenshot.
