SCOUT Custom License

This is a custom license for the SCOUT project, with the following terms:

1. Non-Commercial Use:
   - SCOUT can only be used for personal and research purposes unless a commercial license is obtained from Digital Hallucinations.
   - The SCOUT application and its components cannot be used to create derivative works or commercial products without prior approval from Digital Hallucinations.

2. Modification:
   - Modifications to the SCOUT codebase are encouraged, but the modified code must be submitted as a pull request and accepted by the SCOUT development team before it can be used.

3. Custom Deployments and Commercial Use:
   - Custom deployments and commercial use of SCOUT can be arranged by obtaining a license from Digital Hallucinations.
   - Users interested in these use cases should contact the Digital Hallucinations team to discuss licensing options.

4. Personal and Research Use:
   - SCOUT can be used for personal and research purposes under the following restrictions:
     - The SCOUT application and its components cannot be redistributed or shared publicly.
     - The SCOUT application and its components must be used in accordance with the project's documentation and guidelines.

5. Disclaimer:
   - SCOUT is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
   - Digital Hallucinations shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of use, data, or profits; or business interruption) however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the use of SCOUT, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.

By using SCOUT, you agree to the terms and conditions of this custom license. If you do not agree with these terms, you are not permitted to use SCOUT.
