How can we make it easier for people to understand how to contribute via Github? https://www.atlassian.com/git/tutorials/comparing-workflows/forking-workflow <-- thats a great link for starters

Perhaps we can create analogies depending on who's expected to make contributions to the project, ask a couple of simple questions at the beginning and then present them the tutorial in such a way that they can relate to.
