Explain your issue

The title explains it all. The code straight up never calls deathCounter other than to reset it to 0 and to create it on PlayState.
This makes it so deathCounter does literally nothing but appear on the pause screen

WHATTTT, ITS LITERALLY THE 3RD TIME I ADD THE SUM LINE FOR THE COUNTER WHY DOES IT ALWAYS DISAPPEAR😭😭

I mentioned this already and it was fixed a while ago in a dev repo.

simple fix, idk why it wasn't forked and pr'd here but whatever.
Fix comming whenever new dev builds get sent to main repo
