Bug Report: when i try to change the character my custom character the game crashes and says "null object reference"

when i go into the chart editor and change the normal opponent into my character the game crashes and says "null object reference"
or it just puts it to bf.idk what i should do

could be because of many many things, even your xml character badly formatted, we need examples
