@doutriaux1 @dnadeau4 I have just rediscovered the conda based Intel Distribution for Python

I wonder if somebody has tried to install this distribution and then install CDAT (or at least cdms2 and cmor) inside?

They nave a nice list of what is bundled with their distribution

I'm mostly curious and this is not a priority at all, but it would be a nice test to see if (some) CDAT packages are compatible with an alternative distribution

@jypeter indeed it would be nice. But we have no cycles for this unfortunately. If you ever get around it, please let us know.
