no page break in bibliography #45
Comments
Thanks for your feedback! Can you please verify whether using Cheers, |
bookdown::pdf_document2 has the full bibliography with the page break so the issue only occurs with BiocStyle::pdf_document: Thanks! |
Thank you. Could you please provide the sample source files which you used for testing this? Cheers, |
This is a minimal example. I had to rename the .Rmd file and .bib files to .txt in order to attach here. Thanks again. |
Thank you for providing the MWE. Unfortunately, so far I was not able to reproduce the described behavior. I will try again later on another machine, but this already indicates that the problem might be specific to your particular LaTeX configuration. |
Ah thanks so much for the time. This is frustrating because I love the BiocStyle format and the HTML works perfectly. The only component not up-to-date is my R installation. And I haven't changed any defaults to the LaTeX install so I will explore that. |
new install of R/R studio/R packages/macTeX didn't solve it and I'm not sure where the conflict is. Ultimately I saved the .tex and added a manual \newpage to get the full bibliography. Also had to save R plots to image file folder but that was easy enough. Thanks again for the help. I love the style. |
I am using BiocStyle::pdf_document: to create a pdf from rmarkdown. My bibliography is more than one page in length but the pdf doesn't have a page break with the consequence that the bibliography simply continues into the bottom margin, with whatever references are left simply not printed. I recreated with a simple .rmd that only contains references (more than one page worth) and attached below. I updated RStudio, rmarkdown, bookdown, BiocStyle (to 2.7.8), the macTex distribution but no luck. Running OS Sierra 10.12.6
