AssaultCube

AssaultCube, also known as AC, is a free and open-source first-person shooter video game. It is a realistic, tactical, and fast-paced game that is inspired by the gameplay of the game "Cube". It features different game modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and Hold the Flag.

1. Head to this website and it will start downloading the exe
2. Run the downloaded exe and select where to install it (eg: your usb drive)
3. It may cause a popup that says "Windows Protected Your PC" you'll want to click "More info" and then run anayway
4. open the location that you installed to (eg: E:\AssaultCubePortable) and run the AssaultCubePortable.exe file (refer to step 3 if it has the popup)

Half-life 2

Half-Life 2 is a first-person shooter game where the player takes on the role of scientist Gordon Freeman, who must fight against the Combine, an alien empire that has conquered Earth. The game features a mix of combat, exploration, and puzzles, and is known for its immersive storytelling, innovative physics engine, and memorable characters.

prerequisite, you must own the game through steam or other methods as redistrobuting it here is piracy.

1. Go to the location that you installed half-life 2 and copy the entire folder onto your usb drive
2. Go to the location on your usb drive and launch the hl2.exe file and enjoy

Minecraft

Minecraft is a popular video game where players can build and explore virtual worlds made of blocks. The game has several different modes, including survival mode where players must gather resources and defend against monsters, and creative mode where players have unlimited resources and can build freely.

1. Head to the releases page and download the bat file
2. Proceed to run the downloaded bat file (most likely in your downloads folder)
3. It will popup with a message that says "Windows Protected Your PC" you'll want to click "More info" and then run anayway
4. Profit, Minecraft should launch as usual

Prism

Prism Launcher is an Open Source Minecraft launcher with the ability to manage multiple instances, accounts and mods. Focused on user freedom and free redistributability.

1. Head to the releases page and download the PrismLauncherPortable_x.x.paf.exe file
2. Open the downloaded exe file
3. It will popup with a message that says "Windows Protected Your PC" you'll want to click "More info" and then run anayway
4. Chose your desired location to install the program to and when its done you can open prism launcher.

SSF2

Super Smash Flash 2 is a fan-created fighting game inspired by Nintendo's Super Smash Bros series. It boasts a varied roster of characters from multiple gaming franchises, who engage in fast-paced battles on diverse stages, aiming to knock opponents off-screen.

1. Go to SSF2's download page and click on one of the "Windows 64-bit (Portable)" links
2. When it is done downloading extract the folder to your desired location (eg: your usb drive)
3. Launch the ssf2 exe file and you're set, enjoy

Blender

Blender is a free and open-source 3D creation software that can be used for creating animations, visual effects, video games, and 3D models. It offers a wide range of tools for modeling, sculpting, texturing, lighting, and rendering, making it a popular choice among artists, designers, and animators.

1. Head to Blender's download page and then click mac, linux and other versions then click the Windows Portable (.zip) link.
2. When its done downloading go to the location that it was downloaded and extract the files to where ever you want (eg: a usb drive)
3. Enjoy blender (enjoy runnning it on a school pc 💀)

Discord

Discord is a free and popular communication platform that is primarily used by gamers and communities. It offers a variety of features such as text, voice, and video chat, as well as the ability to create and join servers (virtual chat rooms) for specific groups or communities. Discord also offers the ability to share files, images, and videos, as well as integration with other apps and services. Many Discord servers also have roles and permissions that allow users to customize their experience and give them access to different features within the server.

1. Head to the releases page and download the exe shown under Assets
2. Run the downloaded exe and select where to install it (eg: your usb drive)
3. It may cause a popup that says "Windows Protected Your PC" you'll want to click "More info" and then run anayway
4. open the location that you installed to (eg: E:\DiscordPortable) and run the DiscordPortable.exe file (refer to step 3 if it has the popup)

Dolphin

Dolphin is an open-source emulator for Nintendo's Wii and GameCube consoles, enabling users to play games on various platforms, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. It enhances the gaming experience with improved graphics, compatibility, and controller support, making classic titles accessible and enjoyable on modern devices.

2. Right click on the webpage and click save as, when the window pops up to save it change the save as type to all files.
3. Go to the location of the downloaded file and double click it, a window will popup saying that windows protected your pc. Click more info and then click run anyway.
4. Press any key in the terminal and wait for it to load, when it loads a bunch of options press 1 and press enter
   
5. Type a and then press enter, this will download some required dlls for dolphin, when its done you may close that console window and go back to the other one.
6. Type 2 and press enter to launch dolphin

Cemu

PPSSPP

PPSSPP is an open-source PSP emulator that enables users to play PlayStation Portable games on various platforms, including Windows, Android, and iOS. It offers high-quality graphics, customizable controls, and enhanced performance, allowing for a seamless gaming experience.

1. Go to PPSSPP's download page and scroll down and find "Windows" then click "Download zip file (portable)"
2. When its done downloading extract it to your desired location (right click and click extract)
3. Go to the location where you extracted the files and double click the ppsspp exe file and enjoy

Steam

Steam is a digital storefront and platform developed by Valve Corporation that primarily focuses on providing a one-stop-shop for purchasing, downloading, and playing video games on your computer. It was first launched in 2003 and quickly grew to become one of the most popular digital distribution platforms for PC games.

1. Go to this url
2. Right click on the webpage and click save as, when the window pops up to save it change the save as type to all files.
3. Go to the location of the downloaded file and double click it, a window will popup saying that windows protected your pc. Click more info and then click run anyway.
4. Press any key in the terminal and wait for it to load, when it loads a bunch of options press 1 and press enter
   (Optional: type a and then press enter, this will download some dlls and may help with dll errors with games)
5. Type 2 and press enter to launch steam
6. You can now use steam as usual, it may say something about the service not being installed but you can ignore that.

Tor

Tor Browser is a free and open-source web browser that prioritizes user privacy and anonymity. It routes internet traffic through a network of servers and encrypts it multiple times to conceal a user's IP address and browsing activity from surveillance and tracking. It also blocks certain scripts and tracking technologies by default to further enhance user privacy.

1. Go to this url
2. Right click on the webpage and click save as, when the window pops up to save it change the save as type to all files.
3. Go to the location of the downloaded file and double click it, a window will popup saying that windows protected your pc. Click more info and then click run anyway.
4. Press any key in the terminal and wait for it to load, when it loads a bunch of options press 1 and press enter
   
5. Type 2 and press enter to open tor. (FYI, if you're running this on a school network you may be unable to connect to tor. your millage may vary)

Uncategorized

there are alot of games that do not have high system requirements that are on steam and do not have drm, this means you can copy the game's folder to your usb drive and use it anywhere. Alot of GOG games are good for this.

There are also alot of programs that you can just copy their installed folder over to yout usb drive and it will work. You can also sometimes google the progam you want and add "paf" and you may find a portable app with what you want.
