... are not clear - what does this exactly mean in the different models

@andreas-enders are SoilTemperatureMax/Min, SoilSurfaceTemperatureMax/Min from BioMA components??

They are actually there in different models - just have a look at the xls-sheet attached.

For SiriusQuality :

  • the variable maxTSoil is the maximum surface temperature, which is an output of the model that you don't need to initialize.
  • the variable minTSoil is the minimum surface temperature, which is an output of the model that you don't need to initialize.
  • the variable heatFlux can be found in the daily weather data, the code of this variable is G.
