Support for Canvas Authentication for cloudbank hubs

Context

There is an ongoing struggle with Cloudbank Pilots(mostly Community Colleges) and authentication with the hubs. About half of the Community Colleges we work with are set up to handle authentication with third-party identity providers. The providers are usually Google or Microsoft. The other half is not configured to handle an identity provider.

I have had very little success getting IT departments at institutions with no identity provider configured to find a way to register with CILogon or set up the third-party authentication correctly to handle the hub.

On the other hand, almost all these institutions have a deep understanding of Canvas. If we could integrate Canvas Authentication as one of the authentication protocols 2i2c hubs support it would go a long way towards smoothing out the onboarding process and making it easy to bring students and instructors into the hubs.
